Product Description
The brass check valve is a threaded, one-way flow control component used in air, water, oil, and fuel service where a corrosion-resistant, non-ferrous body is preferred. The brass body is precision-machined from forged stock in 3/4" and 1" sizes with NPT/G/BSPT threads, and an internal guided closing element prevents reverse flow when forward pressure drops. NBR/FKM seals are selected for fuel and oil compatibility. Brass gives the valve good machinability and natural corrosion resistance in non-marine, non-chlorinated service, which makes it a common choice for pump discharge lines, dispenser plumbing, and general industrial piping where cast iron or stainless would be over-engineered.
Brass alloy choice is part of the spec, not a default. We can adjust the brass grade and seal compound to match the buyer's media and temperature window, and we machine the brass body on CNC lathes that handle the softer non-ferrous material without burr or thread damage. For distributors building a brass valve line, that means one supplier can cover air, water, and fuel SKUs without changing manufacturing partner - and the body finish stays consistent across the range.

Applications
Application 1: Pump discharge and fuel dispenser piping - the brass body resists fuel and oil corrosion in above-ground service.
Application 2: Air and water system manifold lines - the non-ferrous body avoids rust contamination in compressed air and water circuits.
Application 3: General industrial oil transfer - threaded ends retrofit into existing NPT/G/BSPT plumbing.
Customization
Brass grade, seal compound (NBR/FKM), thread size and type are available. Custom variants are developed from drawings or samples; OEM/ODM and wholesale supply are supported.
Packaging & Transportation
Individual protection against thread and surface damage, export cartons, palletized shipment. Trade terms: EXW or FOB.
FAQ
Q1. What media is a brass check valve suitable for?
A. Air, water, oil, and fuel. Brass is not recommended for seawater or chlorinated water service.
Q2. How does it compare with stainless steel?
A. Brass is lower cost and easier to machine for lower-pressure, non-corrosive media; stainless is chosen for higher temperature or more corrosive service.
Q3. What thread options are available?
A. NPT, G, and BSPT in 3/4" and 1"; other sizes can be quoted from drawings.
